The Claire tops are loose fitting tops softly gathered around the neckline. The Claire ladies tops sewing pattern comes in two styles. Both styles have a raglan sleeve.
The short flutter sleeve version is finished with a bias binding channel and elastic around the neckline. The 3/4 sleeve style is gathered to a neck facing with matching cuff bands.
The Claire tops can be made in lots of different fabric types. For a soft floaty version try viscose or lightweight silk. For a style with more volume and pronounced gather details try a washed linen or cotton lawn.

SUGGESTED FABRIC
Woven viscose, lightweight silk or floaty satin weave fabrics. This style also works well in crisp fabrics such as cotton lawn, poplin and washed linen.
